Here's an incomplete Roll Call of all who's taken part in The Big Day 2014/2015. We couldn't have done it without you! (If we've missed you out, sorry - just let us know.)
Ynghyd Ltd (meaning 'together' in Welsh) founded The Big Day in 2014. They are a social enterprise that specialises in delivering marketing solutions to other third sector organisations, and are involved in numerous projects including creating community hubs and helping to move people with complex needs closer to the workplace.
The Big Lunch is a simple idea from the Eden Project. The aim is to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours annually on the first Sunday in June in a simple act of community, friendship and fun. Since starting in 2009, thousands of Big Lunches have taken place in all types of communities. In 2014, 4.83 million people took to their streets, gardens and community spaces for the sixth annual Big Lunch.
The Scarlets are one of the four professional Welsh regional rugby union teams. Based in Llanelli, the team play at the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the Pro12, as well as competing in the Anglo-Welsh Cup and the European Rugby Champions Cup (which replaced the Heineken Cup from the 2014-15 season). We're so pleased to have them support The Big Day.

Men’s Sheds welcome everyone who have time on their hands whether that’s due to unemployment, retirement, bereavement, disability or simply if someone’s new to an area and are looking for ways of finding out about what’s going on within a community.

Alternate Universe is Llanelli's coolest, trendiest outlet – it's our very own, very friendly neighbourhood comics shop. Stocking weekly deliveries of the top comics titles, plus stocking the best in wear, these guys have been a permanent fixture at The Big Day, making sure a little colour is spread around town with costumes and free comic give-aways!
The Coleshill Centre in Llanelli is the home of the Service Users of Coleshill, and the ‘Coleshill Community Association‘ or CCA. Coleshill is Wales’ first Centre for Economic Inclusion.
